The hospital has state of the art facilites for Cardiothoracic surgery, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, etc. This is the newest addition to our list of clients for both NABH and NABL.

The latest addition to our client list is the Madurai Kidney Centre and Transplantation Research Institute, a well known and highly reputed hospital for renal care. The hospital is working towards accreditation based upon NABH as well as NABL for the laboratory services.

Our latest client for NABL Certification is SciGenome. SciGenom is a genomics R & D organization located in Cochin, Kerala, which conducts research work aimed at understanding the role of DNA sequence variation in human health and disease. Data from their studies and advances reported by other published research work are used to develop diagnostic DNA tests that reveal underlying causal genetic defects in human inherited disorders. Such information can help guide therapeutic intervention decisions made by doctors and families. Also, some of their tests are designed for understanding the risk of disease occurrence that can aid doctors and patients manage health risks well ahead of disease onset. In the context of drug treatment, SciGenom has developed tests that will allow physicians to match patients with appropriate drugs and dose of drugs, based on individual genetic information.

Our client, Medical Trust Hospital at Cochin underwent its Final Assessment for NABH on the 7th, 8th and 9th of July 2011. It is a 750-bedded multi-speciality, tertiary care hospital. A team of 4 assessors spent 3 days at the hospital.
The hospital had no non-compliances at all during the assessment, a feat to be highly appreciated given the size of the hospital and the staff strength. It is extremely rare to have no NCs during the Final Assessment, and this shows how well the hospital had prepared itself for the same. The assessors were highly appreciative of the team, the management, the hospital and of course, its consultant who gave the right kind of guidance in the preparatory phases.
Congratulations to Medical Trust Hospital for such a wonderful performance!!!!!
